Shalini Manglani is a Board Certified Nutritionist based in Bangalore, India. Her unique approach to diet and nutrition is flexible and forgiving; she believes that a good understanding of nutrition helps one achieve a healthy, long-term relationship with food. Shalini has a deep interest in preventive nutrition for school children, adolescents and young adults, this has pushed her to conduct numerous talks about portion sizes and how to eat intelligently.​ She has counseled CEO’s and working professionals in different companies and has worked with homemakers to make their kitchens more dynamic.

Her engagements include URlife, Appolo Hospitals' wellness portal, and a client base all over the world. At the moment, she is associated with Dr. Arvind Bhateja and Sita Bhateja Specialty Hospital, Infantry Road, she also practices online.

I had the pleasure of meeting Shalini Manglani when I contacted her for nutrition and weight loss counseling. At the time I was 30 and weighed significantly more than I ought to have. Through my 30 year journey, I have oscillated between being fit at times and overweight at others and have tried many different ways to lose weight, some successful and some unsuccessful, but all very much an uphill climb and difficult to sustain. This was truly the magic of Shalini for me. Nothing was off limits although everything was within a limit. 

 

Six months later, my 30 year old self was 22 kilos lighter and thrilled with my new weight! I was fitter, lighter and happier, all thanks to Shalini and her diet that hadn’t seemed like a diet at all! The ease of the regimen was truly surprising and encouraging as I was still eating everything I had been used to eating my entire life and I hadn’t been given any drastic measures to reach my goal! 

 

Over a year and a half after reaching my goal, I am still fit and have managed to maintain the weight we reached thanks to Shalini’s fabulous plan and will forever be grateful for her help, wise counsel and positivity that have made my life a healthier, fitter and happier one!
